Upgrading the suspension of your Yamaha TW200 provides a tremendous enhancement to the function and performance of your bikes travel. We always recommend our complete DDC KIT (DDCs, springs, spacers and oil) as this will address all of the shortcomings of the stock fork performance with a modest investment. However, just adding heavier rate fork springs will significantly improve rider-forward load capacity and reduce brake dive and bottoming. The Cogent Dynamics fork springs are available in 0.60 kg and 0.70 straight rates. For riders up to 200 lbs. we generally recommend the 0.60 rate. Riders over 200 lbs. or those that prefer a “firmer ride” may wish to consider the 0.70 rate.
