The Cogent Dynamics custom rear spring is designed to be the correct fit for the Honda OEM rear shock on your Africa Twin so that it fits your shock without modification. Use this new, firmer spring to help better control your bikes load with luggage or heavy duty off-road use.
These springs DO NOT fit the Africa Twin Adventure Sports version. The Adventure Sports replacements are now in production due to customer demand. These springs will be available in a 10.27 kg/mm straight rate, perfect for respring without revalve, sized to fit as a direct replacement. The Cogent Dynamics custom rear spring is designed to be the correct fit for the Honda OEM rear shock on your Africa Twin so that it fits your shock without modification. Use this new, firmer spring to help better control your bikes load with luggage or heavy duty off-road use.
This custom designed shock spring is a straight rate 10.2 Kg/mm which increases the rear wheel rate by just over 15%. Riders from 170-275 lbs. will find this spring to be a big help, particularly if running with luggage or passenger.
Cogent Dynamics is able to custom build this spring in other rates by special order.
